What is it? This is a free Zone diet manager. I've been using an Excel sheet template that I wrote to do this for the past year. It worked good, but had its share of problems. Scouring the internet for a Zone companion either turned up some shareware that didn't really compliment the Zone diet very well, or it didn't suit my needs.
What does it do? Helps you manage recipes on your computer, and then plan your weekly meals. It then will automatically figure up your grocery list for you to print and take to the store - a real time saver! Also will be able to track your excercise schedule and weight loss.
Who should use it? Anyone that has a computer, is on the zone diet, and wants to simplify planning meals and grocery lists. Program will also have a "Non-Zone" mode, so you can track calories, fat, etc. for other diets. Or simply use it for yourself if you want to keep track of meals, and automate your grocery lists. In other words, just about anyone!
When will it be available? Hopefully soon! It's still in the prototype phase, so I can't give you any details now, but please bookmark this page and check back later. The closer I get, the more I'll update this page. And there will likely be a beta posted on here in a couple weeks. (Friday, February 06, 1998)
